Considering how long I’ve been in the game, it is always a surprise that I can learn more about the crafting system. But, without fail, the crafting classes teach me something new.
This last Sunday Avatar’s Crafting and Agriculture University held classes on farming and brewing. Both were a wealth of information for new Avatars, and filled in the holes for us old timers.
The agriculture class included a long discussion on watering and the use of alarms. It was strongly suggested that farmers get used to checking at SotALore, as you can find seed prices, growing times and more there.
We also learned about the range of planting and watering compared to skill. The picture above is of a 101 skill, spanning three large planting beds. A skill of 61 will span two.
Brewing was informative as well. The class ranged from the economics of it (it turns out you can make gold, but it is work!), time to ferment, and how growing your ingredients can save you gold.
At the end anyone who wanted to participate was given the materials to brew their own cask of a beverage of their choice! Talk about a sweet deal!

Unfortunately the videographer was unavailable last night, so there is nowhere that it can be watched.
