Last year, a fierce battle against a member of the obsidian order known only as The Messenger, His acolyte Hemswal the Descended, The obsidian Cabal, and a force of Outlanders sympathetic to their cause raged across the land eventually culminating in an epic attack on the city of Arie, and the attempted assassination of Lord Drumplemouth.

Since then, based in the nearby port of Dragomir Mori, Captain Boris Mondragon, Catherine Rose, and several other captains and crew have been investigating and fighting the obsidians in an attempt to drive them from Novia permanently.

Beginning with the “Black Sails” Saga (https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/forum/index.php?threads/the-black-sails-saga-part-1.147229/) , the story and battle continued for several months, ending with an Obsidian Victory in Luna City.
