With my invitation to visit The Kingdom of Ironhall in hand, I headed off to Norgard. Tucked away on the mountain, past the caverns of Skrekk, I rode into the city. The city that stood before me left me standing in awe.

The walls of the city stood high and strong, every corner was decorated and citizens bustled about. (Literally! The number of NPC conversationalists and pets created the feeling of an active city,)

Rising from the ashes of the old Ironhall Viking settlement, The Kingdom of Ironhall was founded by the Omarian Knights after the first war. Exiled from Norgard after the fall of King Baene Thorrstad of Ironhall, the Knights traveled far across Novia to regain strength and resources in the hope to return home and reclaim their lost lands. With time victorious, the Knights constructed a mighty white fortress high on the highest hill from nearby limestone in honor of their lost brothers and sisters. What is today known as Whitehall Castle has repelled invasions for centuries, and has given Ironhall City and Laketown a safe haven and an opportunity to thrive to what is today known as the Kingdom of Ironhall.

The Kingdom of Ironhall encompasses three main areas, Ironhall City – Capital of the Ironhallians and home of the Knights, Laketown – a farming community on Lake Anor and Whitehall Castle, the seat of Ironhall and home of Omara royal family. Ironhall is also home to the Lightbringer Castle which has been a beacon of protection in the harbour for centuries.

After strolling through the main streets, I headed to Laketown. The Broken Dock Inn caught my eye and I headed in to chat up the citizens. One told me about Finn, who was out back, who had some very interesting things to say. Laketown was a very quiet and homey area that an avatar could relax in. Whitehall Castle was a beautiful place that photos could not capture. There was so much to look at and see, I could have spent hours simply looking.

However, there was more to see! Sp next I decided to head over to Lightbringer Castle. I enter the gates and stopped in my tracks, as a large dragon sat, standing guard. I asked permission to enter, to which the dragon allowed and I toured through this castle decorated with many blue roses. The amount of time and attention that went into decorating every part of the City of Ironhall, is absolutely amazing. Every place I visited looked and felt like I was in a real walled fortress city.

When I asked Sir Thoryk Omarea about living in Ironhall, he told me this:

“It is important to ensure Ironhall feels real and natural and follow our concept of a Walled Medieval Fortress. Ironhall core is constructed around the environment and its map. Each resident spot is carefully selected to ensure continuity! So the answer is yes we have lots of room come discuss what you would like to create with us, everyone is welcomed.

Ironhall has a Main Dock, Market Square and market Row. Farming Town, Castles and Keeps, Several Inns, portals, teleporters, NPC. There is currently a project of 4 Dungeons being created in Ironhall. If it’s missing, we are usually in plans of adding it.”

There is no reason that you should not visit Ironhall. With their numerous events, there are many opportunities to head to Norgard.
